Dear accepted international applicants to NBCC,
We would like to inform you of an important update regarding the tuition deposit for the Fall 2024 academic intake. NBCC has revised its Non-Refundable Confirmation Deposit, increasing it from $500 to $1,500 for all international students. This new tuition deposit is applicable to every international applicant, irrespective of their current study permit approval status.
It is crucial to note that failure to make this payment will result in the revocation of your admission. For those of you who have already paid the old $500 tuition deposit, an additional $1,000 must be paid to meet the new requirement. The deadline for payment is March 31st.
Please be aware that the $500 confirmation fee is non-refundable for any reason, including if you choose not to pay the additional non-refundable $1,000 confirmation deposit and instead decide to withdraw your application. However, the $1,500 non-refundable tuition deposit will be credited towards your tuition and fees.
In light of this change, the outstanding balance for your Fall Term tuition and fees is now due in full by Friday, June 28th, 2024. It is important to note that no exceptions or extensions will be granted. Failure to make these payments by the specified dates will result in the withdrawal of your application, necessitating a re-application for a future NBCC intake.
We understand that the increment in the tuition deposit may present a challenge. Having to pay over $4,000 by June 2024 is indeed a significant amount. However, we want to emphasize the importance of meeting these financial obligations to ensure your enrollment at NBCC.
If you do not secure approval for your study permit, you will receive a refund, excluding the entire $1,500 confirmation deposit. We encourage you to work diligently on your study permit application to avoid any complications.
